Wow, what a day for us! Winster.com has been live for less than 24 hours and have already had hundreds of return players and received some great feedback. We're really overwhelmed with the sense of community that Winster inspires and want to make sure we keep you all in the loop as we go forward.
We've gotten some emails regarding technical issues that have carried over from the previous site. Many of you have mentioned continuous spinning and being timed out of rooms. We are addressing these bugs as I write, so rest assured, we have great people on it and will fix it ASAP.
Also, of course there are a lot of questions about prizes. To say we're evaluating them is a bit of an understatement. We have some smart people doing a lot of boring number crunching to figure out a sustainable model for prizes that will keep everyone happy. That said, we plan to have them and make them one of the centerpieces of the site. More on that very soon, I promise.
As I mentioned in my last post, we're going to kick off a fun Halloween promotion next week so watch your mailboxes and the site for some tricks and treats! And more corny jokes :)

I like the way the Winnie character looks on this post, better. With the glasses and pony tale. The first one is more weird, because it looks too much like that show with Hoda and Kathie Lee.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry that we may have not given too much feedback, it was hard for us to trust that the Winster was coming back, there were rumors of this being a hacking and not genuine comeback. So please forgive us, we need some time to trust the company that now owns it. I am happy though, because me and my friends fought to save it. So, thank you for bringing it back. :)
